Giving Back

In gratitude of the success California Dental Care has had, Dr Lata believes in giving back to the community regularly. California Dental Care donates a portion of its revenues to healthcare and humanitarian causes every year.

Dr Lata also volunteers for healthcare causes. She administered the vaccine at local drives in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the summer of 2018, Dr Lata’s daughter Sania organized an event to raise funds for Project Alive. Project Alive is a charity organization dedicated to finding a cure for Hunter Syndrome. The event showcased the talents of local performing and visual artists that have dedicated years of time, effort, and passion towards their crafts. All funds raised by the event were matched dollar for dollar by Dr Lata, and the event raised over $8000.

California Dental Care has continued to support Project Alive in 2019 as well.

Dr Lata is also a regular supporter of Sankara Eye Foundation, an organization committed to eradicate curable blindness in India.
